1166 candidates, 27 parties and 0 chances at a stable government which will govern with any sense for the future.
And the only choice I get to make is whether I want a slow deterioration to continue with a slightly more liberal, social democratic or christian democratic coat of paint. The alternative is one guy with a twitter account who is friends with Vladimir P. from Moscow.
Its not as bad as it sounds, its worse.
Our leading party leader was a[ big fan of Russia](https://www.rtl.nl/nederland/politiek/artikel/3885396/wilders-geen-seconde-spijt-van-russisch-vriendschapsspeldje) with a bad haircut surrounded by incompetent flunkies, his ‚party‘ scores points by pretending everything bad is due to the left (who haven’t been in power since 1970.)
The right wing has been in power for decades and at the same time successfully blamed the left for everything that’s currently wrong. The least stable and least democratic party is poised to win again. Make it make sense.
There are encouraging signs in the polls, D66 is surging the last weeks and there might be a slight majority for a D66-GL/PvdA-CDA coalition if a few small parties (CU, Volt and maybe PvdD or 50+) join them.
Depending on region – we have 25. But frankly, half those parties are bogus parties that only get a handful of votes. According to polls, 15 parties will be elected – six parties will get 7 percent or more, and 9 more will get between 1 and 3 percent each (but enough to get representation).
How do you know who to vote for?
Realistically how do people vote there? is there a party for basically every edge and middle of the political spectrum in The Netherlands?
I cant speak Dutch but I think I know what „dit is uw land“ means. Am I psychic?

And they still won’t pick any good ones.
Parties really need to stop putting 80 people on the ballot. Even parties that won’t win any seat are putting 50 people on the ballot, this madness has to stop.
