      He doesn’t care if it’s legal or not. That’s what he’s communicating. He feels he’s untouchable, and unfortunately he may be right. As long as the GOP control the government nothing *can* touch him. He’s going to continue pushing the boundaries of his power as long as he can, and as long as there are no consequences. So far there have been none.

      Extrajudicial killings by the US put is in some very disreputable company.

      Saudi Arabia performed an extrajudicial killing on Khashoggi.

      Russia has performed extrajudicial killings on multiple journalists.

      Duterte in the Philippines on (suspected) drug dealers.

      This suggests we’re a lot further gone when it comes to democracy and rule of law and respect for human rights than we may realize.

      When Trump was a toddler his mother was in the hospital for a long time, so he never got any love, and his dad was a sadistic son of a b****, who believed that you’re either a killer or a loser, and that’s why innocent people in Venezuela have to die. Continually killing innocent people, permanently destroying democracy and using our tariff money to build gold-plated monuments to himself is something Trump needs in order to feel good about himself and, as Karoline Leavitt reminds us, make America great again. The radical left Democrats just can’t understand!

      This is why Biden was right to commute the sentences of 37 of the 40 people on death row. Trump loves ordering people’s deaths. It makes him feel strong and manly in a way nothing else does.

      The whole thing with SCOTUS carving out a provision for the President not being able to be prosecuted for “official acts” is backfiring spectacularly. As you just *know* Trump is just going to say murdering people is an official act …
