GOOD LORD, no! Please find someone else. What is wrong with this party?

She’d probably be the senior Senator from California right now if she hadn’t taken the VP offer. I wonder if she regrets that?

      > In her first UK interview, Harris said she would „possibly“ be president one day and was confident there will be a woman in the White House in future.

As the Democratic party searches for answers about Republican Donald Trump’s decisive victory one year ago, much of the blame has been directed at former President Joe Biden for not standing down sooner.

      > But there have also been questions raised about whether Harris could have run a better campaign and set out a clearer message on the number one issue, the economy.

Then the Dems will stink the place out again. Read the room, you were deemed less votable than Trump.

    5. The biggest mistake the Democrats made was not treating the Biden administration as caretakers until they found a new voice. This mentality will just show that they still haven’t learned.

I have no ill feelings towards Kamala Harris, but she clearly doesn’t resonate with the American people.

      >Asked if it would be her, **she said, „possibly“, confirming she is considering another run at the top job.**

They were so, so desperate for this headline. This is really reaching.

Media loves to take a verbal shrug as „yup, they’re plotting for sure“.

    7. Let’s be honest, in the current climate a woman is not going to beat any republican. I hate it but it’s true, the average voter does not trust a woman to run their country. They need to find a middle aged guy who can speak sense, who the farming community will get behind to fix their lack of income from tariffs, for the red states vote. I like Harris but she’s been VP, she ran for president, she’s done there. For future female leadership hopes they should back AOC.

    8. Please do not. She didn’t win the primary for a reason. She has no policies her side wanted unless you’re an establishment democrat. She was on the ballot because democrats haven’t been given the opportunity to vote for their preferred candidate in a long time. Most will be voting against someone and not for her.

Democrats have learned nothing. We need someone else other than her

    10. Please don’t, she tried and failed. I voted for her, but she needs to let someone else run who Americans will actually vote for; a white, straight, non jewish man. Sorry, but it’s true Americans are still too simple-minded and too Christian religious.

    11. Here’s what she should do. Run for Newsom’s spot when he runs for POTUS. She’s already a California name. We can’t fuck around and risk this again. She already lost. Move on.

    12. toolatealreadyfapped on

Let her run. I think the primaries will prove embarrassing for her.

If Biden had stepped down like he said he would early enough, I believe there’s a much stronger chance that we wouldn’t be in the mess we are now. I only hope that it doesn’t turn out to be the pivotal point of no return.

Everything these days is a reboot or legacy sequel. Even the politics.

Obligatory Internet disclaimer: that’s meant to be mildly hyperbolic. Mildly

That’s how JD Vance became president and after his second term we can expect Cryo-Trump for the next 200 years, every 4 years!

    15. ItsAMeUsernamio on

Do people here not that primaries exist? She can run but no one will vote for her just like in 2020.

Dems will forever be their own worst enemy. Harris is garbage, we need and deserve better representation!

    17. Of course she will. What could he more in line with the current Democratic Party than repeating the same mistakes over and over and over again?

Jesus Christ the DNC is gonna fuck it up again. I wish I was surprised.

This will give the progressive voters another chance to hand the election to the GOP.
