Hallo zusammen, ich lebe in Deutschland und habe eine ganz normale deutsche Telefonnummer – aber in den letzten Wochen bekomme ich zufällige Anrufe aus den USA (Massachusetts und Texas, z. B. +1 857-754-6350, +1 512-982-1525, +1 617-767-0680).
Ich habe absolut keine Verbindung zu amerikanischen Unternehmen oder Dienstleistungen, daher ist es wirklich seltsam. Einmal habe ich aus Neugier abgenommen – es war einfach still (ich habe auch nichts gesagt). Und heute riefen sie erneut an, sprachen meinen Namen falsch aus und legten sofort auf, nachdem ich geschwiegen hatte. 😬
Ich blockiere diese Nummern jetzt, aber es fühlt sich immer noch irgendwie unheimlich an. Hat noch jemand so etwas erlebt? Handelt es sich dabei um Scam-Bots oder was ist los?

Most likely scam calls, trying you to call back and pay a lot of money for doing so. Just ignore and block them. Or forcing you for some scetchy subscription, … .
Scam/Spam Bots that just call either random numbers until they actually hit an existing number or your phone number was part of a data leak and is therefore part of a spam list that spammers/scammers buy to do these calls.
I get random phone calls from Poland. Have you entered your number on any sketchy websites?
Likely Some company either sold your info or was compromised and your info leaked.
Best thing is to enable the “screen unknown callers” option in the phone settings on your iPhone.

Most likely a fake forwarding number. They are more likely calling from India. I had that a few times.
As people say it’s spam and scam calls. Never pick them up tho, they look what numbers actually pick up and will try to pull stuff, that’s why they called back and knew your name, probably looked it up somewhere or there might’ve been a data leak.
Block them and if it doesn’t stop then you might need to change your number, that’s only in the worst case tho.
