      And Republicans clap because they get to own the libs. Their hospitals will shut down. Their farmers will sell their land their family has held for generations. The ranchers will go bust. But it will all be worth it because Maryland won’t get any federal help and will be owned.

      Blue states and cities provide the majority of funds the government uses to provide services and aid to the American people.

      To deny those resources when disaster strikes isn’t just petty, it is criminal. It will potentially create a band of individuals who have nothing to loose and an anger that won’t be satiated as long as those who created them are in power.

      And this is why I have no problem committing tax fraud 😂 And with the IRS being cut I have no worries with ever getting audited. Ever.

      I’m a full time gig worker. I already pay no taxes, upfront. I might even get a refund next year while maxing out my ROTH with “no tax on tips” lmfao. Tips are literally like 30% or more of my income.

      This year I paid a whole $150 on $50k.

      Next year I should get a refund, at worst.

      We’re inching closer and closer to the balkanization of the U.S. at this point. Like, what’s the actual endgame here? Every state, region, and ideology is pulling in completely different directions , we can’t keep calling it a “union” when half the country wants to secede in spirit if not in law

      There were literally *hundreds* of casualties in western North Carolina after Hurricane Helene. The WNC environment and economy were fucked up beyond all recognition. The region still has not recovered.

      Trump has not done anything to help the state solely because our governors are Democrats. Full stop.

      There are more Republicans in California than in any other state. Trump won 38% of the vote there last year. So, besides being petty and vindictive, withholding funds from blue states is also self-defeating. Those blue state Republicans will remember this next year, and either vote D or (more likely) stay home.
