If they taxpayers have to foot the electricity bill (against their will) then whatever the data center is producing should be not for profit and free to every day people.
Socialize costs, Privatize profits, an industrial trope as old as industry itself.
Maybe the billionaires who are going to use it to exterminate us should pay for it.
