What I find admirable about this announcement is that there is very little spin. In the „Quick facts“ section they provide several statistics that would have been anathema to release under the previous government, especially the base year they chose (2014).
The stat about offenders with 10 or more prior convictions is also interesting.

Wow, rare LPC moment of transparency. At least they actually admitted that crime has gone up since they took power.
