Context: Today is the commemoration of the Hungarian revolution of 1956. This National March was organized by the Tisza Party. This is an anti-Russian/Soviet event.

This picture was caught on a commercial flight after the Goverment has ordered an airspace closure (which began right after Fidesz’s, at the beginning of the Opposition’s event) to avoid having Drone pictures of the amount of people that attended.
Edit: The crowd stretches from Heroes’ square, which is completely full, till Ferenc Deák square (at the ferris wheel) over ~2.5km distance. It has to be noted that this information, and the picture is about a marching crowd, so density is lower than on a standing crowd.

Many people say that this is the largest demonstration in Budapest so far, it’s not far from the truth.
I hope, the fidesz party will be over in next year, and Orban and his maffia group going to prison.

Hungary, don’t do Bulgaria’s mistake. Even if you manage to oust Orban, that’s only the first step. Remain vigilant. That’s how you keep the corruption out. This is only the first step… there’s a lot more to overcome…
Maybe one day there’s gonna be hope for us too, but for now my prayers are with you to show Europe your worth and progress again…

I was there. At Oktogon, one of my friends showed me the news that Hősök tere is already full and the crowd kept going behind us, all the way through Andrássy. At Kodály körönd I turned back and when I got back to Oktogon, the crowd still kept coming. It was massive.
The tides of the Tisza are rising hard.
THIS is the REAL Hungary, not Orbán.
