As a reminder, the workers were on strike barely a few days before to protest the lack of funding.
I know it’s easy to criticize in hindsight, but you’d think that every display/room would be under some level of video surveillance.
Perhaps they assumed that no thief would be brazen enough to try? It was a pretty bold heist, to be fair..
