Heute auf Facebook gesehen:
Nach 20 Jahren voller Leidenschaft ist es für Maria Nikosia an der Zeit, das Licht auszumachen.
Ich bin Maria, die Gründerin und stolze Besitzerin. Was als kleiner Traum begann, Frauen das Gefühl zu geben, schön und besonders zu sein, entwickelte sich zu einem Ort voller Liebe, Kleider, Handtaschen und Erinnerungen.
Das einzige Problem? Es gab nie eine "Maria Nikosia" Geschäft. Es sind alles KI-Bilder und Dropshipping mit einem wahnsinnigen Aufschlag, verpackt in einer schluchzenden Geschichte. Ich habe von diesem Betrug gehört und es ist etwas überraschend, ihn hier auf Zypern zu sehen, wo die Zahl potenzieller Kunden/Opfer eher gering ist.
Nun ja.

Makes sense it is all AI slop.
Man I knew it from the moment it said “closing after 20 years”
It all started with AI leatherwork gramps. It was of course a scam – saying all the bags are hand crafted & sold for crazy prices but of course, it was some Temu aaagh shit.
This is what all of these scams are – AI & Temu 1 dollar clocks sold for 100 times the price.
This is so obviously fake. Can’t believe anyone would fall for it…
To their credit, they nailed the East Med West Asian middle class power couple vibes in the AI-gen image.
Is the photo AI? This can’t be a real store’s name.
Same thing for Limassol, there was a shop named Amalia Limassol.
These scams are based in the Philippines.
Ok but what’s the purpose of this „scam“? If all it does is make people sad react, that’s more of a troll post rather than scam.
The ai symbol on the bottom right is a dead giveaway
