    1. Everyone says she’s u electable but I swear I’ve seen many conservatives at least praise her authenticity

How anyone dislikes that woman is beyond me. She out savaged trump and all his lackeys, stands for actual leftist ideology, is against racism, sexism, and all the other “isms” and she’s a gamer.

I’d totally vote for her. Only reason I wouldn’t champion her for president right now is I know most of you guys WOULDNT vote for her. For shame

Edit: I’m not opposed to her serving in other offices. But I want more leaders like her. Progressive is a good thing.

His popularity ranking should be down around the same level as people like Hitler and Osama Bin Laden. Thats how huge of a piece of shit this guy is.

Once Americans get over their propaganda-field loathing of the words „socialism“ and „communism“ and start analyzing politicians and their views critically and individually, they’ll realize politicians like AOC and Sanders are some of the only ones actually trying to help Americans

I don’t see how anyone can see Trump blithely tearing down the East side of The White House, and come to the conclusion that he loves America.

He loves his ego. He is 100% man-child ego.

How it’s even a contest between him an AOC is a mystery… You’d need a log scale to illustrate their respective character.

Even Biden is more popular than Trump. And everyone is more popular than JD Vance.

When will America stop framing every single thing around Donald Trump, positioned as if he is the main subject of every story? For example, I do not even like AOC, but isn’t the story actually her surpassing him in popularity, rather than just him dropping? I know it is somewhat glass half empty or full and you CAN see things both ways and be right. But, if we are trying to move on from the displacement Trump causes, you have to stop framing everything as if he is the center of the known universe. He is just one old fat dumb rich pussy.

    8. She may be the best candidate simply because they have telegraphed how afraid of her they are for a decade

Obvious blatant fear, hatred, and vast right wing conspirators now supercharged by socials

The dilemma we face is 2 failed campaigns successfully harnessing sexism, misogyny from men, and internalized misogyny by women.

Don’t give me this Kamala was a bad candidate shit either. “She laughs” “word salad” yet votes for Trump fuck off.

She needs to primary Schumer before running for President. Get her in the Senate and bring in some new, younger blood. But good for her in going above Trump!  That will really get under his thin skin.

    10. This makes me happy, but trump also dropped below a pile of shit in the favorability ratings

I think her popularity level only matters in her district. So she could be at 90% in her district even thought overall shes mot exactly popular. If thats the case, she probably doing exactly what shes supposed to.

I’m sure the framing of this will make him react in a totally normal, not at all batshit crazy way.

Jesus. I had no idea her popularity was so low. I would’ve understood 5+ years ago, but she’s turned into an incredibly effective politician in more recent years. And I don’t think she’s even really compromised on what she wants, though she’s definitely learned how to compromise to get it.

She’s easily in my top 3 favorite politicians right now, next to Newsom and Buttigieg. And she’s ideologically very much more left wing than I’m normally comfortable with. I hope she runs for president, if only so Americans can see how based out of her goddamn mind she is these days. She has no business being anywhere near as unpopular as Trump.

AOC actually got into politics to help people. She is extremely intelligent, hard working and compassionate and wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth like most politicians.

The fact that she is extremely disliked by so many Americans (who when asked can’t actually tell you why they dislike her) shows how effective the right-wing propaganda machine is and they have painted a target on her back.

I won’t speculate on her 2028 chances. But guys, remember this: there were people in her district who voted for her and for Trump.

She thought that was weird. So she set up a meeting with any of those voters who wanted to show up and talk to her about it. Some came. She listened, and she reported out what she learned. Everything she’s done since suggests she paid attention. Or maybe she already was paying attention and that’s why they voted for her in the first place. But I’m bringing it up because it illustrates the kind of politician she is…and maybe that’s why she’s (relatively) popular.

    17. And all he has to do to get there was to rape some children, send the military into the streets to capture people and detain them indefinitely without a trial, bend the knee to Putin, bend the knee to Netanyahu, give $40 billion to Argentina while destroying American farmers, shut down the government to prevent the release of the Epstein files (his former best friend and rape accomplice), etc.

I’d vote for her. I’ve been talking about voting for her for years to be honest. She speaks plainly and doesn’t mind ruffling feathers to get stuff done to reduce suffering of the people

    19. This article frustratingly doesn’t even link to the [poll it references] (https://today.yougov.com/ratings/politics/popularity/politicians/all), preferring to fixate on just two politicians. There’s a lot more info to unpack in the whole poll, such as Bernie Sander’s 3rd highest popularity (above Biden and Clinton), despite not reaching the Dem nomination for President twice. Some concerns with YouGov sampling bias here, given how unpopular Sanders is with the right.
