I understand that this looks suspicious on some level, but this was also a crime witnessed by thousands of people. Is it that insane that you want the witnesses of a crime to keep quiet publicly prior to potentially giving testimony? The online discourse around this case has been all over the place with every possible theory (the bullet came from behind – it was someone from inside tpusa – it was Israel etc). Finding an unbiased jury pool is already going to be next to impossible, I assume. I won’t argue it’s precedented, but it’s an unprecedented situation. I can’t remember the last time a murder had this many potential witnesses.
