      Youth unemployment rising, wages not keeping pace with inflation, people cutting back on luxuries…it is looking like another once in a generation economic crisis is happening again.

    5. he’s absolutely right. we’re seeing PE bought companies constantly going under (Pizza Hut UK just yesterday) and many of those are bought in leveraged buyouts, yet PE firms are still buying companies and saddling them with almost impossible to pay debt

      So the once in a lifetime financial crisis wasn’t once in a lifetime.
      I turned 19 in 2008, never known a pre-crisis working world. What it must have been like to be able to actually have disposable income and not pay ~50% of your salary to rent…
