Please don’t use grok also if you are going to use AI.

Omfg if we have come to a place where the stupids are asking a biased algorithm made by billionaires for voting advice we have failed as a species.

Pretty sad state of affairs if people are relying on AI for their political opinions and choices

It hadn’t occurred to me until now that people would do this. It makes me sad realizing that millions will and that AI companies will be able to influence elections, either unwittingly or quite deliberately (*cough* Grok.).

People really are going to use AI to form their entire worldviews, aren’t they

Man, the amount of people who believe „AI“ is in any way a reputable source of information is astonishing. I even have a coworker who’s basically telling our students to just run what they write through ChatGPT and copy whatever the AI blurts out.

I hate the idea of people asking a bot how to vote…
But people have the right to use whatever method they like. Roll a dice, consult their horoscope, listen to biased commentators, ask their friends. Whatever.

If you ask AI how to vote you are already an idiot and will probably vote for what ever passes for your conservative/right wing party anyway.

I don’t know, I’ve found AI extremely good at identifying what the policies of politicians were. Especially now that they can search the internet. It seems to me the average AI is significantly smarter than the average voter.

I can’t wait until every election has thousands of AI videos of things that never happened being pumped out every hour.

Wait… you mean outsourcing your thinking and decision-making to an unproven and misunderstood algorithm isn’t a good idea?

How long before someone decide to train an AI on the Bible or Quran, claims to speaks the word of god and releases it onto the internet?

People are going to be stupid and still do it. Then that’s when governments need to pressure AI companies to get their AI to tell it’s user that it can’t make it’s political decisions for it’s user.
But just like every time new tech comes out they only do these things when things have gone terribly wrong as a result of ignoring it.

Also don’t use the ‚Stemwijzer‘ VoteCompass. It’s so crooked to put you in the center this year. No questions about immigration and half a question about climate.
