Who would have thought the guy that cant get any legislation passed in his 20 year political career doesnt know jack shit about actual law. Im shocked.
Also, imagine being so unlikeable you lose a slam dunk election against “the most corrupt government in Canadian history”. Man modern conservatism is exhausting.
Love that he shifted to claim it was about the former commissioner. Hes not even conservative anymore. Conservative is about smaller govt, fiscal constraints, but also community, people, helping others. The party has morphed into something very different and way more right than it should be.
He’s such garbage. I love that he’s the party leader. He will make sure the conservatives lose a 5th election in a row.
While he’s at it, he can apologize for saying that racism “is a figment of our imagination” (the interview is actually still online!). Or for handing out coffee to anti-science/anti-vaxxers and encouraging them to “stay the course.” Or for giving the Bank of Canada a hard time for moving its mission statement to the “about us” section of their web site. “How convenient,” he said, in his Sept 21 instagram post (shockingly, this idiocy is still up). This guy is a straight up pain in everyone’s @ss for no good reason, and a stain on Canada. Maybe instead of apologizing he should just get out of politics!
