      Many thanks to the Australian ambassador for speaking the truth (even though he didn’t say it to Trump–an Australian reporter told Trump the ambassador didn’t like him–and Trump, of course, immediately lashed out at the man, who was in the room.

      Rudd was a former Prime Minister of Australia during the GFC and instituted policies that kept the country afloat when many other countries dived into very deep recessions, and because of that leadership Australia was the only major Western nation to avoid recession.

      He ratified the Kyoto emissions protocol.

      He removed toxic workplace laws that allowed employers to exploit employees and replaced it with a system of blanket guarantees of rights for employees which is still in place today and is used to take legal action against employers which conduct wage theft.

      He brokered a number of trade deals, especially with China as he speaks fluent Mandarin.

      Trump barely speaks English and shits his pants routinely.

      Lol Kevin Rudd is currently Ambassador to the US but he was also previously Prime Minister of Australia. He grew up on a dairy farm, he was known for implementing a successful stimulus policy during the Global Financial Crises that stimulated economy by giving money to people not banks, improved protections from workers, apologised to indigenous people for past treatment, ratified Kyoto Protocol, implemented a nation wide internet fibre build, pulled us out of the Iraq war and then got knifed by his own party after mining interests and the Murdoch media went to war on him. He speaks fluent Mandarin.
