This is an imperfect proxy for which AAPI subgroup is biggest though. I’m fairly certain Chinese is the biggest single Asian subgroup along the entire West Coast, regardless of whether Taiwanese Americans are included.

Surprised Utah is India and not the Philippines. I met dozens of Filipinos who converted to Mormonism through LDS missionary efforts and later moved to Utah. I can’t remember more than 2 Indians I met while living there. I never lived in Salt Lake proper, so the population there must be doing the heavy lifting. I love maps like this.
