The guy is literally doing the same thing he’s done since he was a teenager. If he’s not okay now, then he’s never been oka.

Poilievre has been around a long time, and yes he has always been like this. These antics would not have seemed out of place a year ago when he was expected to win, no one in the press will remember them 6 months from now.

Nope , show me polls all day if you want . Running to Alberta and now doubling down and driving deeper into the Right then he was before he lost the election. I think its safe to say hes not as okay as we are being led to believe by his party.
You can take that two ways .
1- hes more ideologically captured then Trudeau was at this point
2- Hes not so confident in his leadership reveiw and is fortifying with his base.

Trudeau resigning was the worst thing that could have happened to him. He’s shadow boxing an opponent that isn’t even in the ring with him anymore because he can’t compete with Carney.

The flurry of articles on this same topic over the past few days from center-right columnists make me think this is part of a concentrated effort to start an anti-Poilievre putsch. The question is who are they positioning to replace him?

He’s successfully channeling the anger of young people frustrated that they will never have what their parents have. Whether or not you believe he will do anything about that is another question.

He’s a one-trick pony, and that one trick is attacking Trudeau.
But since Trudeau resigned before he could defeat him in the election, he’s now a nobody with an easy rural Alberta seat.
He failed to realize that the Canadian political environment is now completely different then it was just 1-2 years ago.

There’s a reason you should never make the attack dog the leader of your party. And really PP was always like this. I’ve met the guy earlier in his career. He was a dick then too.
