I suppose we could always do the same back. Trouble is, nobody wants to flee to Russia.
They’ve been doing this for years, giving people from Middle Eastern and African countries free flights and then sending them to the Polish border.
Russia is / was funding the anti nuclear movements in the west wonder if they’re funding the pro-migrate charities?
These NGO’s need to be tackled, and hard.
It’s treason, working to destabilise the UK with an invading force and working with hostile enemy states.
They don’t just need to be shut down; each and every member helping them, whether that’s a single penny, advice or whatever, needs to be locked up.
As for the migrants, we need to do a social media campaign, with ads across platforms, from an official government account, stating that _any_ attempt to cross will result in deportation at a minimum.
We need to do a deal with France to allow drone pilots and a rapid response force to scan the coastline. Maybe even attach a knife to the drone to stab the boats before they launch.
I don’t _care_ what laws there are, change them. I no longer have sympathy for those crossing by boat. A detention centre with a tent and porridge every day is fine for me. They can leave when they’ve provided exactly who they are. Those who don’t want to, can be a warning to the rest.
This country needs to adapt to a new era, not be stuck in the past. The threats are different, and they’ve been used against us for long enough that this should have been dealt with years ago, not by continuing to kick the can down the road. The government made claims that they were going to do „hard choices!“ except, they’ve targeted the British at the expense of those who don’t belong here.
The lawyers and courts working against us need to be shut down. People do deserve due process, but not in the way it is now, against the innocent British people. The government needs to create dedicated courts for this with approved solicitors who aren’t trying to take us for a ride. They can allow extreme cases (children under 12, because thanks to 30-year-olds pretending to be 17, the age must be lowered to undisputed ages) and women, on the condition _they_ get asylum, but their dependants in another country, do not.
The arguments that go back and forth on this need to stop. We are sovereign; we write our own laws, do it. I do not care for „you can’t do this“ or „send them where“ or „human rights“ etc, We can, I don’t care, and I will take British Human rights over any other nation, _especially_ those who come here to abuse the system. We our losing _our_ rights because of theirs. Time for that to change and make this a hostile environment for those who come here illegally.
Russia’s entire foreign policy, for the last decade and longer, has been to destabilise the EU and US, so they’re weaker and less of a threat to Russian interests.
Putin has never had any intention of improving Russia itself, because that would mean fewer riches for him and his allies, so the only solution to deal with a stagnant, decaying country was to try to ruin other countries and drag them down to your level.
Funding insurgent political groups that would upset the status quo, troll and bot farms stoking division, increasing the flow of migrants that will change the societies they’re going into. It’s all been devastatingly effective. But let’s not pretend that our political systems were great beforehand. We’ve done a stellar job of preparing the ground for Putin’s actions by allowing free market capitalism to create greater inequality than has been seen since the Middle Ages.
How do people square the circle of large scale
Immigration being a net positive and enemy states using it as a weapon of grey zone warfare?
We know, we’ve known for years, and we’ll continue to do nothing about it.
Don’t forget Russia backing factions in Africa to cause the wars, so people want to leave in the first place.
I genuinely can’t understand why this has been such a quiet topic. It’s been pretty well known for years at this point. And hey gee it sure is a fun coincidence that all these far right parties that make so much capital from the migration question also have all these odd links to Russia.
