I don’t think Redditors understand how risky this is for the US— given how much can be produced each year. Between Lockheed and Raytheon- it’s around 750 Patriot missiles a year. Should China attack Taiwan— that might only last a month.
At around $4 million a pop and given US debt level- EU should pay for it.
I invested in both Lockheed and Raytheon because I figure the demand for air defense would be huge. But I’m not sure how they can scale out production 10x even though there would be demand for it.
I think the only sane option is for Ukraine to continue drone hitting oil production and key infrastructure since Trump’s admin loves Russia.
A major boon for Ukraine if it manages to secure these 25 patriots. Currently they boast 3 and were previously seeking 10. Maybe the Russian aerial bombing camping is succeeding since such a drastic increase in desire for AA systems. I wonder if these were discussed at all in fridays meeting since none of the articles mentined it before.

Trump has always sided with Putin- he’s his little butch that Putin has something on. If the orange Mussolini ever proclaims otherwise- seeming to aid Ukraine- it’s just a stall tactic for Putin to reload and continue firing. Trumps actions are treasonous to democracy and to the United States. And crickets from Republican rank-and-file.
No wonder Zelenskyy wants to retire after this mess. How infuriating it is having to continuously smooth talk to world leader whos so incredibly dumb.
