      I wonder if Putin regrets taking Crimea in 2014? If he hadn’t, then this kind of claim might be somewhat believable. As it stands currently, he’s asking us to believe him twice. I certainly hope people aren’t that stupid.

      Oh, that sweet real estate deal feels so close now for Trump. There’s a reason Trump opted for sending a real estate guy to Moscow for private meetings with Putin. No delegation. No interpreter. Just a real estate guy. The primary item om the agenda is not peace. It’s real estate.

      The last thing Trump wants is peace, he wants a constant tension in and a looming threat over Europe so the far-right populists he thinks should replace the EU leadership can have an even easier time selling their propaganda talking about a burning Europe ran by failed democracies wanting to drag everybody into war, among other asinine things.

      Even if Ukraine accepts. Russia will still refuse any peacekeeping troops there. So I ask what’s the point exactly?

      So he basically wants ukraine to accept the reality on the field. Which is that you are never going to reclaim the land russia has occupied. I bet you zelensky has big regrets he listened to Boris Johnson and didn’t accept the peace agreement proposed in Istanbul. Or maybe not, zelensky has become a millionaire in the process and a dictator.

      Why would Ukraine ever agree to any kind of agreement with Russia? They already have one, the Budapest memorandum, and it’s not worth the paper it’s printed on.
