This is exactly what I was pissed at the Democrats about. They waited until the last couple of months to do rallies, and reddit gaslit us into believing that was going to be enough. Do not make the same mistake again, do it for the entire 4 years this time like Republicans did the last 4 years.
This is, in my opinion, the biggest folly of the 50501 movement. These protests can’t just just be every 4-6 weeks. They need to be several weeks if not months of protests alongside mass boycotts of any business enabling this regime.
As people call simultaneously for term limits and younger politicians.
Reminder:
There is no such thing as a Presidential „third term“ in America.
That’s just an authoritarian takeover. It’s a coup.
Trump cannot be on the ballot or democracy is over. And I think any mention of the idea that doesn’t clearly state this is normalizing the destruction of our republic.

I really can’t imagine this 79 year old slob that’s desperately trying to hide his various cosmetic health issues being alive to campaign for an illegal 3rd term. It’s more likely that they would desperately try to cover up his death from natural causes and use AI to pretend that he’s alive and well, just GOP goons using his voice and likeness to push their agenda, pepper in the occasional slur to make it sound like Trump.
We won’t survive a full first term. We need to be aiming for higher than just stopping an illegal 3rd term. We need him out ASAP. It’s not like getting him out in January 2028 will be any easier than getting him out right now.

I hate that the idea of a third term was floated so early that it almost an accepted possibility by now, let alone at the next election. It should NEVER be accepted as a possibility. There are no third terms, it should be completely out of the question and impossible.
Should’ve had 7 million people protest today. Then tomorrow. Then into the weekend. Then into the next month.
And so on and so on.

I agree that we should not let up on protests, and current Constitutional law prohibits a Trump third term. If Trump is called President beyond Inauguration Day 2029 at noon, we can assume that all constitutional law is dissolved at that point, including that precious 2A that conservatives are willing to throw all the rest of the bill of rights out for. If they don’t join us in this fight, they will lose that too. He will take your guns and worry about due process later, just like how ICE is taking people and then establishing if they’re a legal resident or citizen or not later. The leopards will eat your face too, and sooner than you think. It is not too late to stop this.
Stand on a corner with your sign for some period of time. MAGA needs to know that the resistance is not a flash in the pan or that there needs to be a large crowd. Stand on a corner as many times as you can.

You have to be prepared to do more than protesting. He won’t give up without a fight and currently it doesn’t look like the Department of War would disobey the order to fire on civilians.
Wouldn’t be the first time and it won’t be the last.
E:maybe he will be demented enough to not get his own plans to work but the people around him will be far far worse. Hopefully he dies of natural causes soon. Otherwise be ready for shadow president Stephan Miller and Peter Thiel.
