That tiny flatland at the Southeast corner of Honshu is the Kanto plain, one of the best spawn locations you could ask for and also where the largest city in the world currently lies.

It is hard to imagine that China has been able to control Canton, Guangxi, and Vietnam since ancient times. China is very far away from these places and is blocked by terrain.

If somebody asks why India has a pollution problem then show them this. India produces one of the lowest pollution per capita but it is locked due to the mountainous north and makes the problem worse than it actually is. If US was locked on the sides like this, people would have suffocated.
