When the IDF says something, we can’t believe them because according to pro palestinians, they have a history of lying.
When Hamas says something, pro palestinians take it on face value when they too have a history of lying.

If Hamas intention was to never respect the cease-fire why would they agree to a deal that forces them to give up remaining hostages? That was their best remaining card that they were still holding. Some Israelis that I know are now saying that because hostages are secure the IDF should go total scorched earth.
Why does anyone take anything Hamas says as truth?

Just Hamas being Hamas. To them ceasefire means that only the Israelis have to stop firing. We all know the IDF is going to end up back into Gaza.
