Gazans still support Hamas so apparently nothing.
And Hamas just killed 2 IDF soldiers today and broke the ceasefire so I guess they don’t learn anything either.

I wonder if he would also use that term to refer to Ukrainians and Syrians getting refugee status? Why do only Gazans have to live in a war zone?

Nothing really. Its status quo ante bellum. The world learned how far either party will go for their goals.
These two sides don’t even speak the same language. Hamas sees itself fighting a crusader state a foreign power propped up by the West. Israel sees itself as a democracy defending civilization from chaos. They’re not arguing over borders anymore; they’re defending different realities
