I don’t think Trump has ever had any real plans to impede Putin.
I believe the real intention of the summit in Budapest has nothing to do with the war with Ukraine, but everything to do with screwing with European Union, the international criminal court, and giving support to viktor orbán. I think the European Union should state that if Vladimir Putin travels to Hungary he will be forced down and arrested.

It is almost impressive after all these years that Trump continues to find new lows, new ways to weaken America, and new ways to disappoint.
The only thing to stop Putin will be a strategically placed window.
Why did Hamas release all the hostages? Because the IDF began invading their last stronghold, Gaza City, and Hamas realized they were about to lose the war. Military pressure works. The same will apply to the war in Ukraine. Putin will not negotiate unless he believes he is about to lose the war. He has no reason to give concessions now. That is why he’s just making demands now.

So the peace summit will be held in a very friendly to Trump and Putin, Orban’s country. This is in no way a neutral place.
Seriously, though, he has killed so many of his own people, and ruined the goodwill once felt towards Russia. He should be overthrown. He is bad for Russia.

In the past month Ukraine has had to fight and destroy troops, missiles, and tanks from Iran, China, and North Korea. Trump needs to stop what could be world war and shut Putin down. Russia is so economically devastated they are trading oil for soldiers and equipment from communist countries.
Truly bizarre that an end to Russia’s aggression depends on an imbecile like Trump.
