Der Herbst geht zu Ende…

Sweet crispy frost mornings. I love it when it’s all so silent and you hear every frozen grassblade moving and see your breath steaming. A nice cup of coffee from a thermos warming your hands, while you wait if you’ll get black grouses in that big birch you positioned yourself 150 meters from. If not, that’s still ok, it’s still nice to just sit there in warm woolly clothes, breathing in the crispy fresh air.

I was going to say it’s my favourite time of year, but actually I think I have as much to wait with all of them so I don’t think I can pick a favourite. But it’s up there.

Dreading the end of the swim season in a few weeks.
