The absolute truth, coming from a major voice of my generation. He’s always been very perceptive and well-informed about the political issues he speaks on, and has zero tolerance for BS. He could cut Trump to shreds in a debate. John’s one of the nicest guys in show business, but he knows that being nice to Trump gets you nowhere, except under a boot.
