  1. >President Joe Biden will visit the political battleground state of Wisconsin on Wednesday to announce plans by Microsoft Corp, opens new tab to build a $3.3 billion high-tech data center that will create thousands of jobs, the White House said. The Microsoft facility in Racine County, in southeastern Wisconsin, will be built on the same land where Taiwan electronics manufacturer Foxconn had planned to build a $10 billion factory that former President Donald Trump once called “the eighth wonder of the world,” before Foxconn drastically scaled back its plans.

So basically Trump promised something big and, yet again, failed to deliver anything. And President Biden succeeded where Trump failed.

  2. Thank you, President Biden, for helping to follow through on using this site for something beneficial to Wisconsin.

  3. It’s amazing how unbelievably fucking gullible the republicans were about this. There was so much evidence that Foxconn’s model was to rip off and destroy local economies.

But all of the conservatives in charge all happily went full bore. Really impressive.

Biden will definitely need another term to continue fixing Trump’s failed presidency. It’s not like Trump is doing much these days.

Driving past that fuck up is so God damned infuriating.

Scott Walker and Trump are some of the scummiest people on the planet. May God deliver both from us with haste. (If they could get stranded on a distant island, that would be sick).

This is like eating a fresh ripe orange. It’s so delicious and juicy that when you bite into it the delicious juice sprays out because there’s just so much wholesome goodness.

The President deserves to take a bow for this one.

  7. This is such good news for that area. This whole situation was a disaster, but at least they may be able to dig themselves out of the financial hole they put themselves in financing the infrastructure for the Foxconn con.

It’s ironic that Biden is making use of a site that Trump supported, but ultimately failed to deliver on. Actions speak louder than words.

Once again a democrat is cleaning up the failure of a republican. Vote Blue this Fall for continued improvements.

Trump got a Chinese manufacturing site, and Biden is replacing it with American industry. Can’t wait to see to see republicans vehemently oppose this

Conservatives will look you straight in the eye and tell you that vast empty field is actually a $10 billion plant that Donald Trump had built.

They are so deluded and committed to the lie and the fraud and the scam that is Donald Trump, that they will literally deny objective reality in order to continue singing his praises.

    It’s a sickness.

“See that manufacturing plant? Those thousands of Americans working? Donald Trump did that!”

“I don’t…I don’t see anything. This is a large open space with nothing on it. No factory. No workers. Just dirt.”

“You really need to stop believing everything the fake news media tells you. There are billions of dollars in economic activity taking place right here. You just don’t want to admit it because you hate Trump.”

“This is ***literally an empty fucking field***.”

“Sure, keep listening to CNN and reading the New York Times.”

Hopefully he hits this big in commercials too here in Wisconsin.

Help remind those here that voting red gets you fleeced.

Hopefully wake up some of the knuckleads who wavered and voted for Ron Johnson AND Tony Evers, but not Barnes in the last midterms.

Unfortunately, data centers create very few jobs and suck up a ton of energy. The 2,000 permanent jobs figure is a lofty one. The article did not say if the jobs created would be “at” the data center. BUT, It’s still better than no jobs that trump brought to the site.

  14. There article required registration so I couldn’t read it. What did the Biden administration do to get this data center sited in Racine?
