    1. SS: The extreme right have found a new powerful weapon – reading. When will all the (D)emocracy loving folks stop them?

The extreme right has nothing to do with the average American Repub voter, and especially a Christian, but the Left actually does with theirs.

“Watchdogs say” these fucking people think they are on duty or helping in any way 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’d love to meet one of these accredited “watchdogs”

Remember the „elites“ hate the educated.
They dont want any groups to read and learn and to educate themselves.
They want you to doom scroll tiktok

Are they actually reading or are they buying books for clout and using llms to summarize the big important parts. These are the same people who claim to read the Bible when it just sits in a bedside drawer while other people tell them what it says.

    7. Sure, the „extreme“ right are reading…if that were the case, they’d cease to exist in 2 weeks..

Meanwhile the left is doing the same with Morning Glory Milking Farm.

Let’s see how this plays out.

    9. Yeah you see how all the sourcing is cropped out? That’s how you can tell this is ok to ignore.

    10. Thanks for this dumb headline from a no name website from 6 years ago. Really fascinating stuff.

I encourage everyone in this sub to buy a physical copy of all the dystopian totalitarian books that would be banned under a real fascist regime.

      1984
      Brave New World
      Fahrenheit 451
      Animal Farm

Read them and keep them safe.

Does anyone else have any other suggestions to add?

this post is spam. the article is from 2019 and it’s not even talking about a conspiracy theory

Bitching about young people [reading](https://civilwartalk.com/threads/the-moral-dangers-of-reading-novels-in-1864.158807/?amp=1), not reading the [right things](https://betterlivingthroughbeowulf.com/danger-georgian-teens-reading-novels/), or doing some [other](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seduction_of_the_Innocent) thing they thought was [harmful](https://youtu.be/fKy7ljRr0AA)

Aside from the article being satire, there wouldn’t be a conspiracy anyways. Hell I can dig up ancient Greeks whining about how lyrical poetry detracts from epics by focusing on individual feelings over a religious/historical tale

This is a blatant lie. I have never met somebody who supported book bans and is also a reader.
