„Chemical“ is the least helpful description of all time. Think they’re referring to BPA

One replied saying the levels were insignificant? At 19 micrograms per kilogram Their regulatory and pr team need sacking with that response.

The TDI level of BPA is 0.2ng/kg of bodyweight, the 10ppb limit is the historic regulatory not detect level which is out of date for BPA and the general catch all can’t cause harm to human health clause would supersede it. Stricter limits are in place for other applications (food contact).

    3. Only semi-related: one of my favourite book titles ever is Home Schooling for Dummies. The poor kid that sees that on his mom’s bookshelf.

It’s BPA. They found BPA in plastics marked non BPA. Saved you the click.

    5. Even if that baby is obese and has cancer, it’s just plain mean to call him a dummy.

Bad enough for someone to have those ailments but do they have to call them dummies!

English is not my first language. I never heard „dummy“ refer to pacifier before, I was totaly lost on the headline.

    8. Okkkkkk. I think I finally understand. A dummy is a pacifier and not something you put clothes for sale on, that you crash test or an actual doll?

It finally makes sense. Cookie v biscuit et al

That’s good that dummies are going to breed less. We need fewer of them in the world.
