If it includes ceremonial head of states, Singapore should be included. ik Hong Kong is more a territory but they had a female Chief Executive too

Japan doesn’t really count. Takaichi hasn’t been elected PM yet, and the last female Emperor ruled in the late 1700s.
By those standards, every country has had a female head of state at one point in its history.

The then Ceylon had the first female Prime Minister in the world. Also technically Queens Victoria and Elizabeth II were also heads of state.

Since there is a little dot for Hong Kong, then it should be green too. Carrie Lam was Chief Executive from 2017-2022. Singapore has also had a female head of state, Halimah Yacob, who was the non-executive president from 2017 to 2023.
