      We knew this was coming

Another „they would never actually do that!“ comes to pass.

    2. Shows she isn’t qualified to be in education. Turning a blind eye to the problem won’t make it go away.

Considering her long time husband Vince, it should be evident this woman has shit for brains.

Also shows that congress, the supreme court, and the presidency aren’t needed.

After all, we’ve managed to get by almost a few weeks. What could possibly go wrong.

It has briefly stopped raining and now I’m gonna set my umbrellas on fire because obviously they’re no longer needed

So if there is no need for a Department of Education, then she can resign and stop grifting taxpayer dollars and bribes. She doesn’t have a department to head.

    9. Ah yes, the 77 year old geriatric Linda McMahon… you know, the former wrestling executive who’s married to serial sexual abuser and sexual predator Vince McMahon, who’s also suspected of sex trafficking.

Yes, that’s right, Linda McMahon, who is fine with her husband being a known sexual predator, and who knows absolutely nothing about education, or the department thereof.

That Linda McMahon, who was appointed to her position because she’s friends with Donald Trump, also a serial sexual abuser and sexual predator (proven in civil court), and who is also suspected, with substantial evidence pending that he is currently covering up, to also be a pedophile and child sex trafficker.

      Yes… that Linda McMahon.

„Serfs do not need education. All they need to learn is to do as they’re told.“

Our country has not been attacked in these last two weeks. By her logic, we obviously don’t need the military either.

Apparently she doesn’t know what her people do. Regardless, this is the most ridiculous conclusion. It’s kind of like thinking that when you stop rowing a boat and it keeps moving that rowing isn’t ever needed to move the boat. In many things, you don’t see immediate effects, and sometimes they can be subtle. But, if she really believes what she says then she should go ahead and resign. Clearly she is not needed.

Oh yes, the woman who cant tell the difference between AI and A1.

Like I’m going to believe a word she says? Haha. Nope.

The diminishment of Dept Ed will be brutal for rural school districts that disproportionately rely on federal resources to make up for their limited local tax bases.

It will hurt all disadvantaged kids, any who have special ed services or need supplemental food support.

Really, Dept Ed funding is one of the most perfect cases in point of how rural (mostly white) and urban (mostly non-white) working class people have broadly overlapping interests, but are deliberately divided by the ruling elites using culture war issues.

Parent of a disabled child in the school system..The words I have for this woman would get me banned

    16. 21% of US adults are functionally illiterate. Yeah education department ain’t needed none I reckon.

    17. It’s like they hired a plumber who came in, smashed up the place, and said, “You don’t really need pipes.”

    18. Project 2025 wants the govt shutdown to continue so they can say „see we dont need this“ and cut it. They will gut this entire country

    19. fantasyjuicingxxx on

The only thing really not needed at the Department of Education ever is a person of her nature: Linda McMahon and her predecessor Betsy DeVos

    20. trailerthrash on

The re-election of Donald Trump shows the education department is vital and in need of a massive influx of resources.
