      The political philosophy the republican party now practices is called the „Divine Right of Kings.“ it’s the same type of governance that the founding fathers rebelled against. They’ve fully abandoned their defense of democracy and are now moving into „Speaking against the king“ approach, and tbh, it’s working.

      Just a reminder as well that the monarchy in the mid 1800’s had to give up power due to protestors/citizens withdrawing money from the banks.
