Yep as a Canadian who has lived in various parts of the yellow zone including above 60 degrees latitude, it definitely is a big country here….for you non Canuck-ers there’s a reason we typically refer to the distance between locations in the country in hours or days vs kilometres lol!
The yellow is pretty sparse in places and like another poster mentioned I am surprised as well it has as many people as it does.

Ummm the numbers don’t add up Canada has over forty million people in it .
This map is from 10 years ago so the numbers are short several million people, but the map is probably still roughly accurate.
