John Bolton is obviously huge a piece of shit, but let’s be honest here, Trump had no problem with that when he hired him to a high level cabinet position knowing his past with the Bush administration. The charges have nothing to do with any of that.
Had he continued to kiss the ring, he wouldn’t have been investigated by this administration. The purpose of this is to show other Republicans that they will face harsh consequences if they ever stop towing the MAGA line.
