This is genuinely such a dumb idea. Set aside principles entirely. They’d be agreeing to sacrifice any ability to ever get a scoop so they can get in a room and film the same lame ass press conferences every other person is gonna get. Why would a news organization agree to only ever publish what everyone else is publishing? They can literally just wait on the sidelines and wait for the propaganda from the newsroom and reuse it for their own channel, while retaining the ability to *potentially* get an exclusive scoop that actually drives traffic.The thing about state media is that it’s funded by the state….
