She must be the most out of touch person in the country. How stupid are you lady? Easy for you to say. Do you have kids at home that need to eat,rent to pay, gas to buy and do it with an empty bank account. Totally stupid stupid stupid. All of them on that show should quit taking there enormous salaries because they have no talent
Like that will ever happen. Politicians aren’t giving up their payments for anything. Everyone else suffers, we’ll that is a them problem in their eyes.
If the people can’t get paid, neither should the politicians. Period.

Unfortunately, congress is already infested with millionaires and billionaires. This would only affect the few who are not.
Cut off politicians salary before anyone else. See if there is ever another shutdown again.

Call for a national health program?
Calls for cutting the trillion dollar war budget to help the working class?
Calls for a mandatory paid vacation law?
Whoopi and all of those people yak about issues that their corporate owner and sponsors approve of.
I honestly don’t think they could even if they wanted to. Because gov’t direct deposit doesn’t have an easy-off switch and even then, the people that -could- probably adjust it are likely furloughed.
A vast majority of politician are independently wealthy. This only punishes the very few “normies” who came from average backgrounds.
Color me shocked that someone on the View is clueless and out of touch.
