This reminds me of The Story of B the book by Daniel Quinn
What little I’ve seen of him speaking on the topic of the Antichrist, he is not able to articulate anything revolutionary.
Of course the man who has deep pockets in AI does not want his product(s) questioned. Or completed against.
At least we’re (working class people) talking about the Antichrist for a change, though. I appreciate that.
I highly doubt people of religious faith are going to go along with his position that AI shouldn’t be questioned.

Of all the people I would nominate as the possible antichrist he would be near the top of the list. He is pointing fingers towards anyone that might get in his way. I mean that’s exactly what the Antichrist would do. There’s no way he is the Antichrist because he is telling you who it really is, right? Right?

If you’re interested in where his nonsense is coming from, look into Rene Girard. Thiel read him at an impressionable age or something and completely internalized all of it as gospel. A clumsy summary is that Girard thinks of mass violence as almost constantly about to erupt due to the jealous nature of man, and only kept in check by regularly selecting and violently sacrificing a scapegoat. Towards the end of his life he was basically predicting that WW3 would erupt and bring about an apocalypse once China became similar enough to America for them to be jealous of one another.
In this context, I think Thiel might have been trying to elect a scapegoat since he thinks it would prevent WW3. It’s as insane as it sounds.
I think there’s a chance he has absolutely 0 idea what he’s talking about. I’ve said this many times before and I’ll say it again:
He’s rich, powerful, comfortable, and on drugs. It is an absolute dopamine fest to also tell yourself you’re working with the antichrist, even though his entire life is him running from his shadow and harming others to keep generating income to buffer his ego collapse.
It is a possibility that everything that comes out of his mouth originated from stimulants, psychedelics, and mental masturbation.
However, I don’t want to be defamatory here. I think there’s a chance that maybe he is actually in tune with the antichrist and I’m on such a low level of perception that I can’t grasp it. So I give him the benefit of the doubt.

According to predominant theological consensus around the Christian ‚end times‘, the antichrist is supposed to be charismatic and persuasive. So far I haven’t noticed anyone who seems to be getting an overwhelming majority of people to side with them on any issue. Least of all this one. Almost no one left right center or alien I know of is on board with this crap from The Reptile and anyone who is is getting laughed off by everyone they come in contact with.
Personally, I don’t buy into literal interpretations of religious texts anyway. I’m more inclined to view what people do individually and in mass in symbolic and psychological terms.
I’m sure its pure coincidence that his profile of the anti-christ is perfectly aligned to those who oppose or question his business model.

I think people seriously misunderstand who the Antichrist is supposed to be.
The Antichrist is supposed to literally convince people he’s Jesus. That’s going to be hard to do if your openly doing things Jesus wouldn’t do.
All these “evil” people who others claim could be the Antichrist makes zero sense.
No, the antichrist is going to be someone beloved by the majority of the world and someone who people see as having incredible and upstanding morals. It’s going to be someone you’d look at and think “ya know actually, that really could be Jesus”. It’s not going to be someone who half the world thinks is a moral monster lol. It just doesn’t make sense.
What if the Antichrist is an AI creation of a mankind who embodies all the characteristics and personality traits that the masses will trust and follow. Nobody says that the masses have to know it’s AI generated do they? The question is : Who are the men who will bring it into existence? M. A. B. U.
