A crowd of people gathering in St. Petersburg sang an anti-war song by a Russian musician deemed a “foreign agent” in a video that has gone viral.
The clips widely circulated on Telegram showed the group singing the song “Cooperative Swan Lake” by Noize MC, whose lyrics condemn the authorities, the population’s silence in the war in Ukraine and Kremlin propaganda justifying President Vladimir Putin’s aggression.
It was reported that the person leading the sing-along was arrested, and ultra-nationalist Russians have expressed anger at the scenes.

It’s remarkable how the most authoritarian people are the biggest fucking snowflakes with easily hurt feelings.
Shine on young Russian protestors, you did good.
Now keep going.

I gotta admit, if I lived in a country where getting tortured to death would be absolutely on the table for opposing the government, I don’t think I’d have the balls to do this. They are very brave and I respect that a lot.

By the way, the song they were singing, „Корпоратив ‚Лебединое озеро'“ is banned in Russia for its anti-Putin message, you can get in trouble for singing it in public.
The girl leading the sing along, known by her stage name „Наоко“, was already arrested and is facing 30000-50000 rouble fine (381-636$, a lot for an 18-year old student) and possibly public service
