I mean yeah if I was dumping raw sewage into my river, I’d probably expect a few harsh words in the street from my neighbours too.
The police really need to arrest this lot, they know they can’t perform their little ‘arrest’ yet do it anyway. Kidnapping people on a regular basis should be discouraged.

A citizens arrest is possible under S24a of PACE 1984, but there are questions around subsection 3.
The article is behind a paywall (or a mass of adverts), so did they make a citizen’s arrest, and were the police then called with him being taken to a police station so that the arrest could be formally made (or him being released) ?

Climate change and environmental destruction is caused by real people with names, faces and addresses.
Good on these people for making there at least be a *very mild inconvenience* for the catastrophic levels of destruction of our ecosystems, caused by this absolute ghoul and his friends.
