As can be expected from politicians who refuse to be publicly held accountable for their past actions or future promises.
Wilders has been under threat of violence for well over a decade, and while I abhor that fact, it’s also never stopped him from being the politician he is during that time. In this particular instance, I think he’s taking advantage of the threat to weazel his way out of public debate for the upcoming elections come the 29th. The current castrated government being as dysfunctional as it is falls mostly on his shoulders, and he knows it.
Still, do not attack or threaten politicians for having different views. Idiots.
There is no additional treat, multiple agencies have confirmed this but he has nothing to gain by showing up.

Dude is being a drama queen so he doesn’t have to campaign. NCTV and the AIVD (basically the terrorism and secret services) said that there was actual immidiate danger to his life and that the locations were perfectly safe.
They also gave him the option the participate from his own home/safeplace and be part in the debate in an online fashion.
He still declined. He really is acting as if the 25, 23 and 19 year old were truly the worst danger he experienced.
This is all a ploy so he can evade all the hard questions every other party would throw his way.
He made a lot of empty promises during the last election cycle, like removing the deductible from healthcare insurance packages etc. He knows he will get called out on those promises now, do he is avoiding debates.
