That seems a little silly, considering that it’s the Israeli government’s job, right?

  2. totally_random_oink on

America doesn’t care about the hostages, shit, we still have an American hostage in gaza, and you haven’t hear a peep from Biden about it.

  3. Lots of comments here from people that didn’t read the article. Hamas claimed to accept a deal that Israel never saw or agreed to, and the US knew about it and didn’t discuss it with Israel. It’s all another propaganda PR ploy to make Israel look bad, Hamas had no intention of actually getting the deal done.

Americans frustrated with Israelis voting for far-right governments with incredibly unhelpful policies (particularly towards west-bank settlements, and also reckless prosecution of the Gaza operation)

I highly doubt that any hostages are still alive in the first place . Hamas I’d just using this to survive, and coming up with BS hostage talks.

🙃 But what about all our college kids protesting? They didn’t mention anything about seeing that and stopping the war? 😤 😠 😡

People! Hamas did NOT agree !

They actually came up with their own agreement.

One where dead hostages are counted as ” hostages”.

Israel will be insane to even agree to talk with these genocidal liars.

The problem is, that Israel is a country and as such must keep their word.

Hamas on the other hand, is a bunch of fanatic Muslims whose LYING in order to prevent complete defeat, is APPROVED by their so called religion ( read: war manual).

Here is a short lesson from one who grew up with them:

How dare they! The US is actively negotiating Israels unconditional surrender to Hamas and they’re complaining?

I think Hamas ( terrorists pos)killed them and when Israel finds out its over for all of em

US is “frustrated “ with giving Israel $3billion per year.

If Israel doesn’t appreciate the US participation, they are more than welcome to reject it and all aid from us. We have no problem if you send us back all the weapons we gave to you.

  12. Hamas cannot remain in power. The hostages must be returned. That’s the bottom line.

  13. system3601x on

Everyone is welcome to go guard the aid crossing and help get the hostages back. Otherwise, those leaders can shut up and let Isreal deal with this. Hamas had tons of opportunities to really care for Palestinians and end this by releasing all hostages and surrendering, but all they have are body bags and they want to escape without a scratch.

Hamas will be anahilated soon. Sadly no hostages are likely to be alive.

  14. Tf, our taxes paid for their whole existence, literally. What could they possibly not like?

  15. 23diamond_ on

Israel is flattening Gaza regardless of anything that happens outside of Israel

Funny how people bitching about Israel getting US aid are totally cool with US providing aid to Palestinians (who support Hamas).

  17. Sweet_Habib on

I’m starting to think that maybe there’s some people in bibis cabinet that maybe don’t want to see an end to this.

  18. MarcusSuperbuz on

So Israel don’t like what the USA negotiated and were also not happy with Qatar’s efforts.

Are they happy with literally anyone helping with negotiations? Is not, why don’t they just tell all other parties to fuck off?

Can someone film me in on this?

  19. Adept-Mulberry-8720 on

Why the fuck are we handling the “hostage” talks! It’s not our war! It’s not our doing! The negotiation are in Egypt! We should stand on the side, Israel can handle herself and win this struggle! The us should be more concerned about the Ukrainian situation! This is all I’ll say!

I will say, Biden looks very very weak right now, and I have previously seen him positively prior to and early on in this conflict. In his effort to pander to the college left during the talks, he is doing so half heartedly, which isn’t earning him favor there, but his actions are also alienating people in the center who believe Hamas should be removed from power in gaza.

If he’s gonna side with the pro-hamas portion of the left who wants to keep Hamas intact, he better go all in on it, because the half-assedness of it just looks weak to everyone. Hamas took and raped and killed Americans too, yet Biden certainly doesn’t act like it these days.

  21. TheFilthyCripple on

Stop paying for the war with our tax dollars. Fuck em we have our own problems to deal with

  22. Can’t blame them. They basically told Israel to accept that they weren’t getting the hostages back and they would also have to let the murderers get away with it.

It wasn’t a tenable deal and would never have been accepted by the Israeli public.

  23. LaughingSerpent on

Fuck em. The fact that we’re trying to help those genocidal freaks at all is already a stain on our history books. Biden should just cut all aid and demand a refund if the killing of civilians doesn’t stop. We all know it’s not about Hamas or the hostages anymore.

  24. I remember when a foreign power taking American hostages was considered casus belli. How the mighty have fallen.

  25. Netanyahu cries like a little girl whenever he doesn’t get what he wants, that’s all this is. The U.S. is trying to reach a unilateral agreement, and the only agreement Netanyahu wants is for every member of Hamas to die. He’ll never agree to a ceasefire under any terms that leaves Hamas intact.

You don’t have to be from Palestine or Isreal to see it either.
