      This walking, talking, objection-making human egg won’t bring this case. He very clearly did obstruct the car and him being found not guilty of „false imprisonment“ is not the same thing as saying he didn’t block her car and trap her in a heated protest where they had valid concerns for their saftey. We all know he categorically played a part in that. Shocking phrasing from The Examiner to say he was „cleared of all wrongdoing“. Obviously not, he was found not guilty on very specific charges.

      He had to get free legal aid for his jobstown case, I hope his situation has improved so that he can afford this case on his own dime…

      Whatever about the veracity of her comments, how in god’s name did she end up talking about an eleven year old incident by someone she isn’t even standing against in the first place?

      Say what you want Murphy but yes I think people can have a view that it was violent and criminal. Even if a jury found it not so. He was a ring leaderr

      They were anything but peaceful protests. Joan Burton was in danger and theres no chance the PO unit could leave. Protestors were violenting trying to restrain her and stop her from leaving. They gave chase and tried to block her escape car.

      They’re absolutely not going to vote for Connolly but theres a chance some of them will vote for her to own the left

      Paul should have kept his head down till after the election, this will only spur them on

      Between all the planning objections and threats to sue his opponents I’d say his solicitor loves seeing Angry Paul storming in the front door.

      It is actually quite common that a criminal case collapses and the former defendant sues for libel; and it gets thrown out of court. I’d love to see Murphy take the case

      That was Paul Murphy jumping on the water protest bandwagon after about 6 marches through Dublin and making it about him IIRC.

      Jaysus Heather, ya catch more flies with honey than vinegar. This has been the most unrelenting nasty campaign FG have ever done. I couldn’t tell you anything about Heather’s background, life or policies, only that she doesn’t like the other candidate.
