No idea if „intelligence“ from the US is real or propaganda at this point

Not a hope in hell, especially the justice aspect.
And really, how did we (successive governments) let the UK get to be China’s bitch so badly? When a steel company is dangling carrots if „the plans are waved through“ you just *know* things are bad!

Britain should be very wary about sharing intelligence with a US President. Who after he leaves office keeps UK TOP SECRET nuclear secrets in a ball room and a bathroom that has a photocopier in it. With Trump showing off the files to his guests.
I think this has more to do with the trade hostility the US has towards china, being that china is a manufacturing giant.
Regardless of what you think about Trump, it’s a pretty sorry state of affairs when the Treasury is putting pressure on Downing Street to prevent convictions of Chinese Spies because they don’t want to lose Chinese investment. Maybe if the Treasury invested in Britain we wouldn’t be dependent on China doing so?
