It would be hilarious if some states form a compact and just rehired all of these people that are fired.
Example: Literally reform the CDC out of the fired people from the CDC and just call it the „New England Center for Disease Control.“ Fund it with state tax dollars and don’t send anything to the federal government. Done. Let the Fed play their games and just do it on the state level.
