Cutting consultants and more automation seem to be the deficit cutting plan. However, cutting oil and gas corporate welfare would free up $30 billion annually (Environmental Alliance). And getting rid of corporate tax havens would supply another $15 billion a year to the feds (Canadians for Tax Fairness).
