This is deeply concerning
It’s a tough one for me. I personally believe in full body autonomy even when the science absolutely says vaccines are the right choice. I’m fully vaccinated, and was first in line for the COVID vaccine back in the day, so this doesn’t come from a place of doubting science.
I don’t like the idea of governments having control over what you have to put inside you.
That would violate section 7 of the charter and in Ontario would also violate section 18(1)(d) of the Private Health Information Protection Act.
Just give people the choice, but then block them for receiving medical aid if they get sick from something that was preventable with the vaccine.
Just like anyone in their 20s should not receive medical aids for problems stemming from smoking.
People have to be made accountable of their choices in life.
