Where are all the Americans screeching about aid to Ukraine?

We know Argentina is good at receiving Nazis when they’re toppled from power…

America putting billionaires first. Farmers are intentionally being bankrupted so the wealthiest around the world can buy up US land on the cheap.

    3. >“It is inexplicable that President Trump is propping up a foreign government, while he shuts down our own,” Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren said in a statement. “Trump promised ‘America First,’ but he’s putting himself and his billionaire buddies first and sticking Americans with the bill.”

    4. and what does the Argentinian president do? He throws a giant rock concert with him singing…

    5. We don’t have money for the American people, apparently, but we do have $20 billion to prop up a failing Latin American populist who sings Rolling Stones covers while his country falls apart. Good to see our „America First“ priorities are in order.

they actually love socialism, as long they can keep you out of it

    8. Currency trade can be extremely lucrative, but also extremely risky. My guess is a bunch of very wealthy people just got that much more wealthy.

The best long term move is to make the US dollar legal tender in Argentina and then slowly phase out the peso.

Citrone’s Discovery Capital Management is long Argentina and he’s good friend of Bessant.

I’m sure this has nothing to do with it. I’m just free associating.

When your extreme libertarian project fails to bring its promises, bail it out then lie about why it’s doing better. It is so extremely important to the west’s oligarchs that strict capitalism is viewed as the only system that works.

Trumps approach to south America is unhinged.

      $20 billion cash.

      50% tariffs.

      Bombing their boats.

None of it approved by Congress. None of it explained to the public adequately.

Trump is behaving like a king, a tyrant. He does whatever he wants with no regard to the best interests of the people of the united states or any other country.

Prop up their currency, then they shaft American farmers by selling their soybeans to China! So China get around the orange ones tariff! Everybody but the American farmers win!

20 billion sure could have helped a lot of US citizens, repair failing infrastructures and maybe lowered some US debts.

How does this benefit the American people and make life easier and more affordable for us

    20. Old-Tomorrow-2798 on

Argentinian citizens actually benefitting from a trump presidency more than any American citizen. We can’t have healthcare or afford food but they literally get their poor government leadership wiped away by another poor leader as if that doesn’t show both lacking and both being failures.

He is always saying that he saved the economy, I guess he was talking about Argentina.

Funny coincidence how an international friendly soccer match featuring Argentina was just moved out of Chicago because of the “situation” there.
