The spiteful de-frenchification of Manitoba government was one of the meaningful events that helped push Quebec francophones into amputating themselves from the ‚French-Canadian‘ national identity behind the defensible boundaries of Quebec’s provincial jurisdiction, something that has in the long term been a negative for Canada
Get ready for a lot more government spending and lawsuits from people who speak English just fine but want out of a speeding ticket or want an easy payoff.
